Set prices, manage purchases, and get paid.

Pricing Models

Three models per item: free, fixed price, and pay-what-you-want (with optional minimum). Set prices when creating or editing an item. See Pricing for guidance on choosing a model.

Membership Tiers

Offer recurring monthly memberships per project:

  • Create multiple tiers with different prices
  • Toggle tiers active/inactive without deleting them
  • Fans join through the payment checkout
  • The payment processor handles billing, renewals, and cancellations

Membership status changes (active, past due, canceled, renewed) sync via webhooks and update your dashboard automatically.

License Keys

For software products, license keys are generated automatically on purchase:

  • Configurable activation limits: Set how many machines can activate a key
  • Machine tracking: See which machines have activated
  • Public validation endpoint: Your software can verify keys against the server
  • Revocable: Deactivate keys if needed

License keys appear in the fan’s library after purchase.

Promo Codes

Create promotional codes for discounts, free trials, and free access:

  • Percentage or fixed amount off the price
  • Free trial periods for memberships
  • Free access grants for individual items
  • Scope: Apply to a specific item, project, or all your items
  • Usage limits: Cap how many times a code can be used
  • Expiration dates: Codes stop working after a date you set
  • Auto-apply via URL: Share a link with ?discount=CODE to pre-fill the code

Download Codes

Generate single-use codes for free access:

  • Batch generation: Create many codes at once
  • Optional max uses: Limit how many times each code works
  • Optional expiration: Codes expire after a date
  • Useful for: Press copies, review access, promotional giveaways

Guest Checkout

Fans can purchase without creating an account:

  1. Fan clicks “Buy Now” on your item page, embed, or direct purchase link
  2. Stripe checkout collects their email and payment
  3. Fan receives a download link via email immediately
  4. They can create an account later to manage all purchases in one place

Fans who buy first and create accounts later have all purchases automatically attached. Guest checkout is the default for logged-out visitors.

Direct Purchase Links

Every item has a dedicated purchase page at /buy/{item_id}: a clean page with cover art, title, price, and a “Buy Now” button. Use it for link-in-bio, social media posts, email newsletters, and QR codes on physical media. Fans purchase in one step.

Payment Flow

All payments go through the payment processor:

Fan pays → Payment processor → Creator's connected account

We take 0% platform fee. Only the payment processing fee (~3% + $0.30 per transaction) applies. See Pricing Tiers for how this affects small transactions.

Refunds

You set your own refund policy. You process refunds directly through your Stripe dashboard. See Payouts for details.

Notifications

Email notifications for sales and account events, each individually toggleable in account settings: sales, new followers, tips, new releases from followed creators, and new device logins.

Data Export

Export all your data at any time. No limits on frequency. See Data Export for formats and details.
