Data Portability
Our Commitment
You can export everything, anytime, in standard formats. No fees, no delays, no degraded data.
This is a core principle, not a feature.
What’s Included
Content
- All uploaded files in original quality (ZIP export has a 2GB size cap per batch; export by project if your catalog is larger)
- Cover art and images (when uploaded)
Metadata
- Titles, descriptions, credits
- Tags and organization
- Project structure
- Release dates
Audience Data
- Fan contact emails (when shared via purchase opt-in; included in sales CSV and follower CSV)
Financial
- Complete transaction history (sales CSV export)
- Revenue by item
- Membership data (project, tier, price, member, status, billing period, cancellation date)
- Payout records (via your Stripe dashboard; MNW never holds funds, so Stripe is the source of truth for payout timing and amounts)
Analytics
- Play counts and download counts (included in project JSON export)
Export Formats
| Data Type | Format |
|---|---|
| Audio/Files | Original format |

How to Export
For the full walkthrough, see the Export guide.
Project Export
- Go to your project dashboard
- Click “Export Data” in the overview or analytics tab
- Download the JSON file immediately
The export includes all items, blog posts, versions, chapters, license keys, download codes, promo codes, bundle structure, and collections.
Transaction Export
- Go to your dashboard payments tab
- Click “Export” to download sales or purchases as CSV
File Export
Direct file downloads (S3-hosted audio, software, etc.) are available through the item dashboard. Full ZIP archive export is available from Settings > Data, including all uploaded files and a manifest.
Using Your Export
All files maintain original quality. Metadata includes everything needed to reconstruct your catalog elsewhere. Use exports for migration, backup, analysis, or archival.
